《应用数学和力学（英文版）》

1. Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (AMM) is a comprehensive mechanical and mathematical journal

carrying original papers on mechanics and mathematical methods in mechanics as well as applied

mathematics relevant to neoteric mechanics.

2. AMM publishes one volume annually consisting of 12 issues in two editions: Chinese edition and

English edition. Both editions are distributed all over the world. Contributions from dynamicists

and mathematicians in all countries and regions are welcome.

3. Manuscripts should be prepared and submitted in accordance with the following instructions:

3.1 A system of responsibility and recommendation by members of the Editorial Committee is in

practice for treating contributions. Manuscripts for publication in AMM should be sent in duplicate

either to a member of the Editorial Committee who has similar research interest or directly to the

Editorial Committee.

3.2 Papers contributed to AMM should be original and substantial in content and concise and succinct

in language. Each paper should include (1) Title; (2) Author(s); (3) Affiliation; (4) Abstract in

structured form (<250 words) consists of objective (Do not simply reiterate the topic, but state

the purpose of this study or why you intended to do this study), methods, results (with main data),

and conclusion (in a definite, conclusive and sort statement, not indefinite, vague or suggestive

sentences).The abstract must be informative rather than indicative. Emphasize the new and important

aspects; (5) Key words provide 3～8 key words or phrases that will assist readers and indexers in

cross-indexing this study; (6) Main text; (7) Reference and Appendix. Tables and illustrations with

labels should be placed in the text in appropriate order.

3.3 Manuscripts should be typed in double spacing with wide margins, and computer-printed

manuscripts are most desirable. Once a paper is accepted, the author(s) will be requested to send

Microsoft Word(.doc) or Beida-Fangzheng(.s72,.ps2) files of the paper in the format required by

AMM via E-mail to applmathmech@ or on diskettes to the Editorial Committee, if possible.

3.4 References should be listed at the end of the paper in the order of citation in the text.

Unpublished materials are not to be included in the references. References should be arranged as

follows:

For journals:

[number] author(s). paper title[J]. abbreviated title of the journal, year of publication, volume

number(issue number):number of the first and last pages.

For books:

[number] author(s). book title[M]. site of publication: publishing house, year of publication.

number of the first and last pages.

For proceedings:

[number] author(s). paper title[A].In: editor(s), title of the proceeding[C]. site of

publication:publishing house, year of publication. relevant pages

3.5 Project supported by foundation should include: Name and Grant Number of the foundation.

3.6 Biography(ies) of author(s) should include: Name, Headship and Record of formal schooling etc.

4. All papers will be refereed. If necessary, the author(s) will be asked to revise the manuscripts

according to the referee\'s suggestions. The Editorial Committee reserves the right to make

reasonable modifications in wording.

5. Papers are accepted with the understanding that the same work has not been published and that

it is not being submitted for publication elsewhere. When a paper has been accepted for publication,

the author(s) will be required to sign a Copyright Transfer Agreement for the paper.

6. The Editorial Committee is located in the Chongqing Jiaotong University.
