第六章英语单词的重音位置

重读音节单词中读音特别响亮的音节。重读符号为“”，标注在重读音节前左上方，如：[t

mru]，也可以直接在单词里标注，如：tomorrow。次重读符号“”，标注在重读音节前左下

方。

在双音节词和多音节词中，必有一个音节读得较其他音节重而强，这个音节称为重读音节。其

余的音节读得轻而弱，称为非重读音氓原文及翻译注音 节。有的多音节词可能有两个重音，其中一个是主要重

音，另一个是次重音，或两个都是主要重音。主要重音用“”表示，加在重读音节前的左上

方；次重音也用“”表示，但加在次重音节前的左下方。

单音节词单音节词多数是重读音节，标记读音时不需要使用重读符号。例如：
