天文地理题：多读课外书是硬道理

每年南外英语能力测试都会涉及到几道天文地理题。总体难度不大，基本是

关于世界各地包括中国的天文常识与地理知识，比如中外国家的首都、亚洲包括

智力测试题：换个角度求解

智力测试题，俗称“脑筋急转弯”。这类题是学生平时生活中接触最多的，

所以不存在畏惧心理。南外考试只是把“脑筋急转弯”换成简单的英语问题，要

求用英语作答。鉴于往年相关试题的分析，我们的建议是：读懂题意，换个角度

求解，正确、规范作答。所有的智力测试题又可以大致分作两类：一类是由汉语

中的“脑筋急转弯”改编而来，比如“花三分半钟煮熟一只鸡蛋，那么煮四只鸡

蛋要花多长时间？”这类题基本不难，不需要左思右想；还有一类是与英语相

关的智力测试题，比如“哪个英文字母是一种昆虫

中外历史题：关注重要历史事件和人物

中外历史在每年的南外英语测试中总会出现两三题。比如，二战发生的时间、

郑和生活的朝代等在往年的试卷中均出现过。不过，这些基本是关于一些重大历

史事件与重要历史人物。对于这样的历史知识，加强识记，但不必过细！记住人

类历史长河中发生的重大战争（如第一次世界大战、中国抗日战争）和出现的重

要历史人物（孔子、华盛顿等）即可。对于历史事件要准确地记住发生的时间，

数学运算题：没那么吓人的

数学运算题是每年南外英语能力测试中必考的一种题型，但其占整张试卷的

权重及实际难度没有社会各大培训机构吹嘘得那么严重。说白了，就是借助英语
