世界上值得敬佩的人有很多：保护安全的警察、舍己救人的消防员、救人生命的医生……而我最敬佩的是我们小区的环卫工人。

我们小区的环卫阿姨。每天都打扫小区，保持小区的清洁、美观，不分四季，无论早晚。

在炎热的夏天大家都摇着扇子，狗也热的吐舌头，小孩儿的冰砖袋扔的满地都是，不过谁也不理会，唯独环卫工人阿姨穿着规定服装拿着扫把打扫。这么热的天，阿姨的汗珠儿一个劲儿的淌，衣服都被浸透了，可她还在打扫。过了好一会儿。地上的各种垃圾都被扫走了，地面恢复了干净。我们都劝环卫工人歇一会儿，可环卫工人没有歇，而是跑到了另一个地点打扫。看着清洁的地面，我们都很感谢她。

冬天到了，雪花飞舞。大家都捂上各种各样的衣服，呼着冷气向前走。环卫阿姨仍然拿着大扫把打扫。不大一会儿雪花便落在了她的身上、头上、脸上、手上。可她没有一丝的停歇。她的手，早生了冻疮，现在又冻得通红，她的身躯一直在和寒冬做抵抗。为了我们的清洁，环卫工人付出了多少的辛苦。她一步一步的走，如果遇到了扫不起来的，就用手去捡。在大冬天，手一碰冰雪，是钻心的冷啊！

有人崇拜歌唱家，因为他的歌声优美；有人崇拜运动员，因为他们能为自己的国家争光；还有人崇拜舞蹈家，因为她们舞姿优美。而我，却崇拜那平平凡凡的环卫工。

以前，我看不起那环卫工，他们整天都脏兮兮的，看着就让人恶心。现在我突然改变了对他们的看法。

那还得从夏天的一个周末说起。那天，我满心欢喜地走在大街上，突然，一阵刺耳的“刷刷”声传入我的耳中，我好奇地转过头一看，原来是环卫工。她正手拿一把大扫帚，埋着头，专心致志地扫着马路上的垃圾。汗水像断了线的珍珠，在她那布满皱纹脸上不停的流着，而她还穿着厚厚的橙色工作服。我想：这炎炎烈日下还来扫地，热不热呀！我轻蔑地走上去问：“阿姨，你傻不傻呀！现在这么热，不能等太阳落山了再来扫吗？”阿姨似乎没注意到我的表情，低着头，一边扫地，一边和颜悦色地说：“小姑娘，不行啊，要是等到那个时候垃圾不是就更多了吗？你们走在遍地垃圾的路上舒服吗？”我一下子怔住了，望着阿姨，热泪盈眶，没想到，连一位普普通通的环卫工人也有兢兢业业、默默无闻、为他人着想的贡献精神！想到我以前对他们那么轻视，脸一下就通红起来，连忙说：“阿姨，再见！”飞快地跑开了。心里好象明白了什么……

我最敬佩的一个人，就是我家楼下的环卫工人，是一位爷爷，大概有五十岁左右的样子，有一点微微的驼背。他天天从早忙到晚，忍受严寒酷暑，风吹雨打，日晒雨淋。

“沙沙沙！”的声音吵醒了我，我仔细趴在窗边一看，一大早，原来是环卫工人在辛勤的工作，我想想，也不知他是几点起的床，当我还在睡梦中的时候，他已经开始了一天的工作。尤其在寒冷的冬天，“美容”着我们的家园，却毫无怨言。每天下午放学，我总能看到他拉着架子车，将垃圾桶的垃圾一箱一箱的往车上倒，有时候甚至还要用手去把垃圾掏到架子车里。

有一次，我在上学的路上，看到他仍然在那里辛勤的工作，有一位小朋友，顺手把冷饮塑料袋扔在了他刚扫过的地上，这位环卫工人刚坐在道沿上准备休息，他看到后站起来立刻将塑料袋扫到了簸箕里。我以为他会继续坐在道沿上休息，谁知他走到小朋友身边，语重心长的说：“爱护我们家园的环境，要从一点一滴的小事做起，你连这一点小事都做不到，还怎么来爱惜我们的家园！”这位小朋友听了，立即羞愧地低下了头。我本以为他站起来会训斥那位小朋友，或者他扫完了垃圾会一声不吭，没想到他把垃圾清理干净了，还说服了小朋友。

住在我家后面一幢房有一位环卫工人。每天，当你清晨从梦中醒来，背上书包上学的时候，你总能在楼下的院子里看到一位清洁大婶在认真地扫着地上的灰尘、垃圾。地脸庞瘦削，头发很乱，身穿一套环卫服，但是两只眼睛却炯炯有神，嘴边挂着一丝微笑。院子里，大家都十分尊敬她，所以都叫她“热心的大妈”。

有一次是星期天。下午的时候，我独自一人兴高采烈地去公园玩，发现前面有一位环卫工人像我家后面的婆婆，我走近一看，原来真的是她，她正在认认真真地拿着扫帚扫地，还有捡树叶，我就马上向前一步说：“婆婆，你要不要我帮忙呀！”婆婆说：“不用了，谢谢！”于是，我走到一棵树下，躺在一块大石头上，正在看着河上的轮船，可是过了一会儿，我就不知不觉得睡着了。大概过了半个多小时，我被一个人拍了几下，叫醒了，我睁开眼睛，感到很刺眼，突然，光好像被什么东西挡掉了，接着，我听到一阵很熟悉的声音说：“董哲，快醒醒，太阳晒到你这儿来了，快别睡了，我睁大眼睛，婆婆正用慈祥的目光看着我，一只手挡住太阳，接着，婆婆递给我一张纸说：“看你满头大汗的，快擦擦汗吧！”我紧紧握住这一张纸，心里一阵激动……这小小的一张纸，包含了婆婆的一片心啊！

当我回家拿扫帚急冲冲跑下楼时，到在外面的垃圾已扫得干干净净了，我抬头望去，婆婆正拿着扫帚，缓缓向前走去。这时天下起了蒙蒙细雨，我的脸一下子发烫了，像烧起了一把大火，眼眶湿润了。

婆婆远去的背影逐渐模糊，而大家称她为“热心的大妈”的原因，我却更加清楚了，从此，我也更敬重她老人家了。

此时，正值中午，那太阳不知为啥生气了，气呼呼地散发着炎热的阳光。蝉儿忍受不了这酷热扯嗓子叫着“热——啊”“热——啊”，周围给人昏昏欲睡的感觉。

这大热天的，我还必须去补课，我低着头，尽量不要让我的眼睛刺眼，忽地传来了“唦”“唦”的声音，我眯着眼，抬头望去。

一位四十几岁的阿姨正穿着橘黄色的外套，头戴橘黄色的帽子，健康的黝黑色的脸上不时有汗珠滴下。马路旁边有一个垃圾箱，它的旁边净是垃圾，不知是哪个缺德的家伙把垃圾扔在这儿，大夏天阳光一照，散发出难闻的气味，招引来无数青蝇飞来飞去。

此时她正用扫把把垃圾扫进扫帚里，再倒进垃圾箱，然而她的眉头似乎皱都没皱，似乎已经习惯了这种味道，也似乎习惯了这种行为。

这时，从对面门市里走出来一个小女孩，约七八岁模样，右手拿着垃圾袋，嘴里哼着儿歌，蹦蹦跳跳地走到垃圾箱旁，随手一扔，就扔在地上。刚欲走开，忽然看见了她，不由得脸变得通红，赶忙跑过去，捡起了垃圾袋，扔进了垃圾箱，对着环卫工人不好意思地笑了笑，便又蹦蹦跳跳地走开了。

这时，那位环卫工人直起了腰，用手把脸上的汗擦去了，一抹笑容浮现在她的脸上，露出了洁白的牙齿。

我一愣，在别人眼中，环卫工人都是社会底层的人;而现在，在我眼中，他们却变得高大起来。

如果没有环卫工人辛辛苦苦地打扫卫生，哪里来的美丽健康的环境，此时，我觉得，她的微笑，是最美的微笑，也是最美的瞬间。
